Cloth wipes can be made from many different types of fabric. They are great for cleaning little hands, noses, and bottoms. I use them at home and while out with wipes solution in a personal cleansing bottle -- the one they give you at the hospital when you give birth. You can also use a spray or sports bottle.

I do stock wipes, but like most things on this website, I also do custom work. If you don't see what you want, please email me and let me know what you have in mind and I will try my best to find the right fabric to meet your needs.

What are the benefits of using cloth wipes? First, they are reusable -- simply toss in the wash with your cloth diapers or towels (no fabric softener). Second, cloth wipes don’t have any alcohol or harsh chemicals in them like disposable wipes do. You moisten them yourself with a wipe solution like our Honey Chunks, or if your baby has extremely sensitive skin, just plain warm water. Also, you can use as many as you need to get baby fresh and clean without feeling guilty about wasting wipes.

How many wipes are needed? My rule of thumb is a dozen per day per child. So, If you have one in diapers and you wash every 3 days, you would need 36. If you have a baby and a toddler and you wash every other day, you would need 48. This gives you enough to keep some packed in the diaper bag, too.

I can also make cloth napkins - larger 12" squares, with a smaller rolled edge, single layer flannel. Describe or send me a picture of your dishes or kitchen and I'll find something cute for you.
